Enter the date your kit was delivered (or the day you bought it in a shop) and the length of the warranty on your paperwork. The end date and the days left are worked out again at every change.
Set to 2 years as an example, since UK law sets no fixed warranty period. Change it to match the warranty stated on your receipt or paperwork.
The warranty on your paperwork runs until 16 October 2028.
An estimate only. Whatever the warranty says, the Consumer Rights Act 2015 gives you rights against the retailer rather than the manufacturer. You have 30 days from delivery to reject a faulty item, a fault that shows up within six months of delivery is taken to have been there from the start, and you have up to six years to bring a claim (five in Scotland).
